Browse or Search the Register
Search:
The register offers a basic search function. Using the ‘or search for’ function you can search either for single keywords found in the guideline title, or for MeSH terms. Simple truncation of terms is not yet supported.
MeSH terms are derived from the information supplied on the register or, where a guideline is under revision, from earlier versions of the guideline.
Browse:
Use the ‘browse by’ function to browse planned guidelines, guidelines in development or guidelines under revision using the following predefined categories:
Condition or disease: browse guidelines linked to a particular term derived from the National Library of Medicine Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). The MeSH terms allocated to a guideline are displayed on the register to assist you in finding similar guidelines.
Life stage: browse guidelines under development for the care of a patient at a particular life stage.
Level of use: browse guidelines under development for a particular level of use or to identify national, state or local guidelines.
Setting of care: browse guidelines under development for a particular setting of care (i.e. primary care).
Organisation: guidelines developed by a specific organisation
Development status: browse guidelines at a particular stage of development (i.e. planning stage, draft up for consultation, etc.).
Funding status: browse by the funding status of a guideline in development (i.e. secured funding, seeking funding etc.).
